Throughout Scripture, God shows us who He is.

Through Job we see who God is in suffering (Job 38-42).

Through David we see who God is in danger (Psalm 3).

Through Hannah we see who God is in waiting (1 Samuel 1-2:11).

Through Jesus we see who God is in victory (1 Corinthians 15:50-57; 1 John 5:1-12).

No matter the moment in history, God remains the same. He doesn’t change.

God never changes. My circumstances change, but He doesn’t.

My attitude changes, but He doesn’t.

My environment changes, but He doesn’t.

My finances change, but He doesn’t.

“For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.” Malachi 3:6 ESV

I might wonder what God is doing, but I never need to wonder who God is. And since I know who God is, I believe and trust that what He’s doing is amazing.
