“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 ESV)

Jesus came Earth to save people. When the angel spoke to Joseph, telling him to marry Mary despite her already being pregnant: “She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21 ESV)

Matthew 2:6; Matthew 4:16

By the angels: “And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!’” (Luke 2:13-14 ESV)

By the shepherds: “And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.” (Luke 2:20 ESV)

“A voice cries: ‘In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.’” (Isaiah 40:3 ESV) check commentary

This prophecy was fulfilled in John the Baptist:  Matthew 3:311:10Mark 1:2-3; Luke 1:17763:4, 7:27

Jesus has a place prepared for us with Him forever: “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.” (John 14:3 ESV)

God has unimaginable plans for His people: “But, as it is written, ‘What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.’” (1 Corinthians 2:9 ESV)

Fulfillment of the words given to Isaiah by God: “All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: ‘Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel (which means, God with us).’” (Matthew 1:22 ESV)
